As Finance Manager / Business Partner for Essilor GmbH, based in Freiburg
/ Germany, you will be part of the core management team in order to support
the growth strategies from a financial perspective on the German Market. Additionally,
you will coordinate the overall financial planning process and closing activities
and will lead a team of ten direct reports from Controlling/BI, Invoicing and
Cash Collection.
Your tasks
- Sparring Partner to the Management – explain monthly results, interact
with and impact management with a financial as well as holistic strategic
business view and comprehensive understanding of success drivers
- Global view of financial topics, trends, procedures in a changing
environment
- Main financial contact concerning all finance relevant business segments
(Controlling, Accounting, Forecasting, Budgeting, etc.)
- Ensuring the quality and timely preparation of the monthly and annual
financial statements by FSSC in Manila and coordination of audits (annual, tax,
others)
- Supporting and challenging sales & marketing, defining KPIs,
establishing initiatives and corrective actions
- Designing business plans & defining ways to really understand business
drivers
- Building a high performing finance team and a positive engaged culture
Your qualifications
- Master degree in Business related subject and/or experience in an
appropriate role in finance & controlling
- Minimum five years financial experience in a B2B/B2C-company as
Controller / Financial Controller and minimum three years leadership experience,
auditing / closing experience as well as international experience of advantage
- Extensive operational experience within financial IT-systems, in
modelling business plans, proficient financial & accounting process
modelling, defining KPI’s, running diagnostics and pushing for solid and feasible
forecasting
- Strategic agility, and ability to effectively collect/analyze/organize/present
info
- Strong negotiation and organizational as well as advanced project
management skills, driving for results, decision making, excellent in problem
solving
- Open minded personality, pro-active, eager to develop and challenge
- Strong leadership skills, strong communicator, motivating and developing
people
- Fluent in German and English, French is a benefit
- Willingness to travel, international mobility
Remuneration: EUR 95,000 gross annual salary (incl. variable pay) with willingness to overpay depending on qualification and
experience.
