You can, of course, also call an HR consultant in advance to find out if there is any point in sending your application. However, you need to be almost as well prepared for this call as you would be for an interview because it is quite possible it might turn into a pre-selection interview, even if you really did only want to ask about your chances. If you are asked to send in a written application, please make sure you do so as soon as possible.
